Competitions and conferences

We offer subject-specific programs and competitions throughout the academic year.

  • Computer Science Day—this annual event features a programming competition as well as student panels that illustrate what life is like as a computer science student. Winners get a scholarship.
  • High School Math Contest—this contest requires students to solve a series of complicated math problems. Winners get cash prizes and scholarships to the School of Science.
  • International Brain Bee—much like a spelling bee, students in this event answer questions about the brain and nervous system until a single student remains. The winner gets a scholarship.
  • Psychology Day—this event provides a sneak peek at what it’s like to be a psychology student.
